The design principle of the waste plastic granulator

The material room is connected to the upper melting room through an inter-door, the stirring rod device is on the stirring shaft, and is driven by a transmission mechanism. The upper and lower melting rooms are separated by a grid, and the lower part of the stirring shaft is a screw blade. The sleeve in the lower melting room allows the heated tail gas to enter the circulating gas inlet, which is connected to the fan’s air inlet. The fan’s air outlet is connected to the heating chamber, and the heating element is installed in the heating chamber. The outlet of the heating chamber is connected to the upper melting room through an air inlet pipe. The transmission mechanism is a chain drive, which is driven by an electric motor to drive the stirring shaft to rotate after being decelerated by the chain drive.

The advantages of the waste plastic granulator

The waste plastic is heated and melted by hot air, and the melted plastic is extruded and granulated by a screw. The recycled waste plastic does not need to be crushed, thus avoiding noise and dust, and improving the working conditions of workers. By controlling the temperature of the hot air, the degradation of plastic due to high temperature during the melting process can be prevented. The hot air can be recycled, which reduces energy consumption.
